At least four people came up to me just before I left to ask what the protest was about.

One of the organizers of the protest said that he has been trying to make sure that the protests aren’t associated with Khalistan. He added some people have brought Khalistani symbols to the protest today and he wanted to urge people to not do that.
If I were to guess the average age of the protesters today I would peg it at 25-27. The organizers of the protests were all young. But there were families driving by in their cars in support of the protest.
And yes someone brought a Lamborghini.
Most of the protesters acknowledged that either they themselves or their family owns farming land in Punjab or Haryana. And that was the reason they were at the protest.
I was not hoping to hear people shout ਸੱਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਏਥੇ ਰੱਖ at the protest.
People wanted to know if I was from an Indian media outlet. Protesters had strong views about how media in India has reported about the protests.
The cars had slogan saying #NoFarmersNoFood displayed. One of the organizers told me there might be further protests to follow in the coming days.
