ASTRO PORTRAIT: Pablo Escobar THREAD

Just some notes & thoughts I have made in an attempt to read & interpret the Vedic charts (D1, & d10) beyond the scope of nakshatra analysis, of people that I've found to be particularly interesting

Escobar is the wealthiest criminal in history, his net worth is an estimated $59 billion today- he became the first King of the Cocaine trade, but how did this begin? How is it seen in his birth chart:

Escobar was a the son of a poor farmer, and learned to make his money in life by stealing gravestones, sanding off the names and reselling them, he then became established in the smuggling buisness, cigarettes marijuana and various illegal contraband-

Rahu in 2nd- on its own here- makes one obsessed with the acquisition of wealth, notably because 2nd- in Vedic is also the family environment, it suggest someone from an outcast family- or denied a normal family life- this strengthens the want of money

It wasn't just this that made Escobar one of the worlds wealthiest criminals in the world, in 1972 he found the crime organization that evolved into the Medellin cartel under his Venus Dasha

For Aquarius ascendants Venus is a raj yoga karka or 'king maker' planet being both 4th & 9th house lord- Venus does well in the 12 house- as it offers fame, wealth but more importantly for Escobar business opportunity-

He was under the influence of Uttara Ashadha nakshatra (as it was dasha lord placement), its symbol, the elephant tusk ties it to Ganesh, the remover of obstacles,

this nakshatra starts new endeavors that have long last influence within society- it denotes people with high ambitions, and organizational capacities ,fighters or governmental workers

Saturn & Mars conjunction (in the same degree)- being so close to each other, these planets are in conjunction not only in the d1, but also in the navamsa & dashamsa charts- the closer two planets are in conjunction the more energy it creates within a person-

If mars is the solider, then Saturn is the general. A lot of energy is being pooled into matters of the 7th house- In Vedic, 7th is related to commercial business, controversies, death, roads, foreign places, adultery, buisness partners-

Mars & Saturn work like to complementary pieces, even when enemies- Mars does not know the word 'no' as Saturn restricts, mars increases one's tenacity-

Saturn holds the lowest degree- & is being 'held up & used' by mars, with Escobar it became used in the vain of- 'I'm going to use Saturn to win power I do not care if it is right or wrong'

All in Poorva Phalguni nakshatra- this is a good nakshatra for the retainment of luxuries, especially in buisness they are more likely to be receivers of benefits than their partners. - it is traditionally seen as a 'fame' giving nakshatra

Sun Dasha: The beginnings of the cocaine trade- by 1975 Escobar had developed his cocaine operation by flying out dozens of planes between Colombia & panama- all the way to the United States via smuggling routes

Dasha lord is Sun ruler of 7th, sitting in 10th in Anuradha

lets consider the influence of Anuradha nakshatra- smuggling can play out here, Mitra this nakshatra's deity suggests travel for the sake of partnerships- forming of alliances, leading organizations, and people who find clever ways of making money

Sun dasha brought gains from partnerships into the career- Sun is also forming the Buddh Aditya Yog with Mercury- by the time he was 26- he had a bank deposit of COL 100 million- (which is more than $3 million US)

Sun & mars create parivartan Yoga by being in each other's houses- being in Kendra house this yoga gives rise to power, authority, status, prosperity and wealth. "The individual will be blessed with expensive clothes and ornaments, honored by authorities or king."

Rahu in 2, aspects the sun in 10 house- also bringing in wealth, with rahu in Revati the wealth was gotten partially through the influence of travelers, roads, & planners (revati rules those things)

Ex-Escobar would by the cocaine paste in Peru have it sent over to his laboratories in Medellin
He organized more smuggling shipments, routes, and distribution networks in South Florida, California, Puerto Rico, and other parts of the country as demand for cocaine increased

Rahu 2- also causes bribery- the essence of the Cocaine buisness for Escobar was 'simple - you bribe someone here, you bribe someone there, and you pay a friendly banker to help you bring the money back.'

he would also bribe police or especially secret agents (all seen by Ketu in the 8th) to protect himself from extradition- he either paid people to be quite or he killed them, his ‘plata (silver) o plomo (lead)’ diplomacy

Under his Moon Dasha, Escobar- was elected as an alternate member of the Chamber of Representatives of Colombia,- His Moon is in Ashwini in 3rd house, while being lord of the 6th

Moon in Ashwini, this nakshatra's diety is Asvini Kumaras- the celestial physicians- & it's influence during a dasha period brings- ministering to people's needs, preforming heroic deeds, generating personal charm & popularity, increase in extravagance.

How exactly did a drug Lord run for congress? Social work. His most ambitious work was the construction of the Medellín Sin Tugurios (Medellín without Slums) neighborhood, named after himself

The popularity he gained from people during this time- was under the image of 'a robin hood like figure'

6th house Lord- in the 3rd- the beginning of his political career was it's end- 6th is a dusthana houses- it brings enemies in the work place- Luis Carlos Galán a Columbian politician- publicly expelled Escobar for involvement in drug trafficking (Escobar later killed him)

In this dasha- Escobar reaches the height of power, the Medellín Cartel was shipping as much as 11 tons per flight in jetliners to the United States (the biggest load shipped by Escobar was 51,000 pounds

Let’s look at his d10 chart:

- First, I'd like to take a look at the Asc, at 19 Taurus (even sign)- this makes the diety of the dashamsha ( according to VP Goel's Comprehensive Prediction by divisional Charts) Rakshasha-

“Rakshasha is the curse of the god,s these curses are bestowed on living beings. It is the place of sin. rakshasha is the law breaker, or he can be someone who deals with law breakers, he acts on his instincts without intelligence, since thinking is not there.”

Mula is a rakshasa species- meaning it is demonic, the nakshatra of the Sun in the d10 suggests the kind of advantages & disadvantages one has in their career- Mula rules- politicians, big courts of justice, or big institutions, officers & court judges-

Escobar either bribed or killed many court judges that went against him, it got so bad many judges wore masks to hide their faces

Escobar is alleged to have payed left-wing guerrillas known as the M-19 to storm the Colombian supreme court- resulting in the siege of the palace of Justice (all Mula related institutions)

Sun in 8th House also causes one to be 'screwed over' in a sense by bosses, & can prompt one to cause scandal- Escobar did this because the government was threatening to extradite him to the US, with the help of M19 he burned all court evidence against him

After the assassination of Louis Galan- Escobar was sent to prison in 'La Catedral' it was hardly a prison at all- featured a football pitch, giant dollhouse, bar, Jacuzzi, and waterfall. But he still managed to continue his criminal activities while there-

Saturn ( signifier of the d10 chart) sits with Mars (10H lord of d1) in 12 house- work is done in secluded places, association with Jails and work carried out overseas- Saturn here, removes him from his family while working- (Escobar's wife & children visited him in "prison")

Escobar escaped from prison after serving only a year and a month- how he escaped was one of the biggest embarrassment to law enforcements- he was warned ahead of time and was said to have donned an army uniform & mask- and simply walked out the back gate-

Ketu in 8H of his birth chart- brings influence to this- as it offers protection from sudden events- a sort of luck appears to the native, they could be struck by a car & not die- here perhaps is that luck for him

Mars Dasha- Death
Pablo Escobar died in a shootout on 2 December 1993, amid another of his attempts to elude the Search Bloc- (a special police task forced assign to hunting him down)- At this time he was under his Mars Dasha which sits in the 7th house

7th house dasha periods **may** bring the untimely death of natives, because according to Maharisi Parasara the 7th & 2 house lords are considered to be 'maraka planets'- or killers-

- Escobar was killed by a fatal bullet shot through his right ear- mars rules the 3rd house, where his 6th house lord Moon sits- the 6th lord here causes the native to be prone to injury of the right ear.
