I last played #secretSantaNZ2020 in 2017... . The main gift was a notebook... it took us a wee while to realise that my Santa had written a note in it right at the start and then on the first page - a recipe for waffles ... they had started us a family recipe book.

Each time the kids want a recipe from someone or a recipe they like to make from a cookbook we use - they get the person to hand write it into the book. We probably use a recipe from the book once a week and i often wonder if my Santa ever checks in on us to see what we are up to

I found the unwrapping photos from 2017 :) So much excitement when it arrived especially as my kids were so unbelievably sick with the chickenpox... the baby was nearly put in hospital :( @secretsantaNZ was a little ray of sunshine in a really hard few weeks.
