Tough period here does not mean that Modi Ji’s popularity will go down. Neither does it mean that he would not be able to overcome it.
Rather it means , a tough period from management point of view. Again it doesn’t mean, management would be bad or improper. (2/n)

To put it properly ,Modi’s tenure as CM and PM has had challenges, but the specified time period of September 2019-May 2021 through which we are passing currently , has been a time of “simultaneous challenges on multiple fronts”. (3/n)

After September 2019, we saw anti-CAA protests, in Northeast and outside Northeast, both of different nature. Then some riots. Then came Global covid pandemic, economic challenges of dealing with it, Chinese aggression and now again protests against farm laws. (4/n)

Current so called farmers’ protests are definitely bigger and possibly most complex till now. It’s not that things were easy for Modi before September 2019. Challenges were always there. But the multiplicity of current challenges has been unprecedented. (5/n)

Even as CM , Modi never faced a situation where Gujarat had a pandemic and it’s economic impact, mindless protests against good laws and external aggression all at the same time. His personal grilling does not compare with these problems. (6/n)

Reason why I am saying this is not to raise any doubts on Modi govt’s management abilities. But simply because as supporters we need to understand that this is a tough period from management point of view for our government. (7/n)

There will be times, when the current situation may drain you emotionally ,thinking what is happening in this Country. You may feel that the govt despite it’s absolute majority is not that strong in taking action you want them to. (8/n)

What we need to understand here is, that with all the resources at it’s disposal, including the most important- intelligence inputs, the govt’s way of dealing with these unprecedented multifront situations maybe different then what we w/o access to these, would suggest. (9/n)

Consider this ,in past few days ,PM Modi has spent a lot of time with security agencies/forces including state DGPs. As pointed out by India TV, it has been more than usual. Most likely, to pre emptively douse law & order problems from spreading geographically. (10/n)

Even on farmers’ protests there are things happening in front of camera and also some behind, about which there is no point of talking much. Top ministers have been assigned various tasks. Not everything will be out in media and neither it should be. (11/n)

Reason why I am pointing out these things is, as supporters we need to rise above our emotional turbulences and maintain our calmness. Most importantly ,trust our top leadership. Because there will be times when they may appear weak, but they are not. (12/n)

There are ample evidences to show they are not, 1 needs to consider constitutional/legal,administrative and political realities in mind. There will be lose talk of what use of 303/353 seats, by people who don’t understand that these nos don’t grant freedom from ... (13/n)
