yes Millwall fans are all very concerned about Marxism
love to read that BLM is "causing a divide". reckon the people booing a peaceful protest are "causing a divide" tbh
and if you're trying out antiracism, I don't think it's the smartest idea to completely distance yourself from the political aims of BLM, especially not when you're doing it to prove reactionary racists wrong. why do you think that racists are trying to prevent political change?
fucking cursed island. kneeling is the most placid gesture, and by itself will not change anything. what will change society, and kill off racism, is education and organising and zero tolerance. these will require political manoeuvring. racists will push back on all of it.
people need to get their heads around this for real, it's just an exercise in trying to construct a position from which their racism will not be challenged. "this isn't sexism, it's about ethics in games journalism" https://twitter.com/uglygame/status/1335299975731961857?s=19
you actually don't have to spend any time arguing with people on this. they're regurgitating headlines they've read on the Mail's website/Facebook posts to give themselves cover to be racist in peace, because BLM is the closest black people have come to disturbing that peace.
that peace needs to be disturbed. bless you if you think you can convince people who are spending their Saturday night frothing over an ostensibly antiracist gesture that their efforts are misguided, but they're not. they're stubborn and deliberate, and racist.
