There’s something about part of the over-fifty set’s accession — through enterprise and entrepreneurship— versus another’s — through activism. The center to center right distaste for Obama, especially ten years ago, is emblematic. Barack Obama rose almost solely through activism.

But: did the corporations take over the activists — or did the activists take over the corporations?
