listening to this $eog buda podcast. i'm not an upstream guy but on downstream this dude is talking like there's 1000 kbd of ethane cracking coming online in the next few years. you have $tot port arthur (60 kbd) mid 21, $xom/sabic (105 kbd) late 21/22
and $rds.a monaca (95 kbd but that'll be marcellus/utica c2) and that's it. would be shocked to see anything else before 2025. c2 exports are going to pick up with $et orbit terminal starting to export soon
but i mean we had 72 mmbbl of c2 end of sep and ethane is trading at 18.75 cpg. maybe the chems are in the dark just like everyone else on this buda thing but they've given no indication that there's about to be a glut of even more NGLs/ethane hitting the market
