Torah4Today added a new photo: Grafted-In / Hebrew.
● It’s the Old/First Testament which proclaims Yeshua’s coming. Both testaments were given to and recorded by Jews. Gentiles have been saved by the Jewish Messiah. This is the mystery of the Gospel (Ephesians 3:1-6).
cont
● The root of the word “Hebrew” means to cross over or pass through. Once saved, we have crossed over to the God/Elohim of Israel (John 5:24).
cont
● It’s Yahweh’s desire to reach all nations with salvation and His plan was to use the Jewish nation. As the Father planned salvation comes through the Jews (John 4:22). We have one root (Romans 11:11-31), sharing citizenship in Israel and become one new man (Ephesians 2:11-22).
● When saved, Gentiles leave paganism with false ideas of the gods of this world and pagan traditions (1 Corinthians 10:7, Colossians 2:8 & Colossians 2:20-23).
cont
The desire to follow God/Yahweh’s Appointed Times, rather than man’s traditions, comes as we begin to understand we have been grafted in to the Living God/Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
cont
“But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root[b] of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches.
cont
If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”
cont
That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God/Yahweh did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
cont
Note then the kindness and the severity of Yahweh: severity toward those who have fallen, but Yahweh's kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
cont
And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for Yahweh has the power to graft them in again.
cont
For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.” (Romans 11:11-31)
