Time for me to weigh in on the recent teaser. This is going to be a long one folks. Strap in.
Both @sarahenakamura and @rafejudkins as well as hundreds of people no one even knows are doing everything they can to make our book series a reality. Yes I said "our"
Time for me to weigh in on the recent teaser. This is going to be a long one folks. Strap in.
Both @sarahenakamura and @rafejudkins as well as hundreds of people no one even knows are doing everything they can to make our book series a reality. Yes I said "our"
Because quite simply we all feel in some way shape or form that it belongs to us. It is personal to us. We all feel like we own a little part of the fandom and that it is "ours". The cast and crew of the show all feel the same way as we do to some extent.
Rafe is a fan. Sarah is a fan. Some Production crew are fans. Some Cast are fans. Remember that.Because of this some of us want to support everyone in the fandom and lift each other up because we have this incredible passion in common with each other.
It makes us want to be better people and to help each other in any way. It connects us. That includes the production team. They ARE fans. We should support them as such.There are others however that feel entitled to more.
They feel like because they are part of the fandom people should do for them. They expect it. They think that this is being made for them specifically and that they should have what they want and not one iota less.
They demand and if what is given does not meet their standards they complain. Thats not how being supportive works. If the production team can lobby for us to get ANYTHING from @WOTonPrime that is a win for the fandom.
They are doing their best, especially considering the state of the world, to engage with us and make the fandom feel included. I have mentioned in the past that Amazon does not engage with us as much as I would like, however when they do I know that they are listening.
They are fans just like us and are as excited as we are for this to come to fruition. Please just remember this. They do not owe the fandom anything. They do not have to give us reveals. They are not obligated to give us anything. S
So when they do, if all you have are negative thoughts and we have people hating on the releases they will stop. None of us wants that.
