It's gonna be a long thread about Muslim issues. I don't know it will make sense or not but I can't resist myself today:
Lately have noticed that there's an issue about marriage build up amongst the educated Muslim girls on the sub-continet. And the extreme dislike towards feminist increased in a proportional rate amongst the men. Was thinking about it then got to know a student of my uncle who was
in quoma due to domestic violence for dowry breathed her last. She was pregnant too. Opened Twitter and came to know about Shehla Rashid. It made me think what's wrong among us, where's the root. But the answer is the reason isn't one but so many:
Socio-economical condition:
Socio-economical condition:
Islam is an ideology. A complete lifestyle. But somehow it failed to reach well to desi people. Poverty, Population and lack of education are some reasons I think. Though most of the people converted in Mughal era but from Islam they only inherited the major parts like shahada,
Namaaz, Roza, Hajj, Jakat, Fitrah, Qurbani and women should cover themselves. For the rest cases they accepted the societal norms and failed to exuviate their patriarchal mentality.( Islam gives men the honour to lead not to dominate.)
When I talk about Patriarchal mentality (dominating women, dowry, forced marriage, bias towards male child) everything included in it. Desi households don't let you know what's the status and right of an woman in Islam. They will tell you to adjust and compromise. Similarly they
don't teach their sons how to behave with women, with their spouse, what's their right. That's why they have the audacity to say easily, ‘I am feeding you and will leave you.’ Today when girls are getting educated they don't wanna put themselves into this.
Laziness:
We all know that it's forbidden in Islam to sit together for men and women after adolescency. Similarly it's also true that acquire knowledge is an important part of Islam for both men and women. Just they can't sit together that's why they didn't send girls to school

For a long time when it was opened for other girls. Neither did they opened girls school for Muslim girls. And when they started sending they send them either general school or convent school or Madrasah. That's why the practice of Islamic culture reduced to only one particular
group. I strongly believe that both Islamic and general knowledge are important for us. If you only study about Deen and are not aware of what's going around, you will fall behind and will be unable to understand the seriousness of an issue and giving fatwa according to it.
And if you only study about General knowledge then you are lost my friend. I personally think we need a school where both will be equally important. Because after doing the heavy homework we don't have the energy to study about Islam. That's how it is reduced to the Muslim homes.
Mental health:
It's an important issue I think. Though we pretend we are good and all but a lot of girls have gone through sexual assaults and abuse. And almost every time the family shut them or they can't open up because parents are not friendly. It puts a deep scar to their
It's an important issue I think. Though we pretend we are good and all but a lot of girls have gone through sexual assaults and abuse. And almost every time the family shut them or they can't open up because parents are not friendly. It puts a deep scar to their
mental health. And if it's happen to a girl who belong from practicing Muslim family she always feels like she lost her sanity. Where the men have not bear any consequence.
There's so many reasons but I wanna stop my rant here, today.
The End

*I forgot to mention neither male chauvinism nor feminism exist in Islam. Islam believes in equity, the right of men and women mentioned in it and Islam believes the fair share of the right to both men and women.
