A remark on Shusha:

The city was captured by 400-strong special forces, divided into four groups, attacking from four sides. Both Armed Forces and Internal Troops SOFs took part in the battle, but in wartime, other forms of military are given to MoD's leadership. In this regard+
Both forces were commanded by Hikmat Mirzayev, the commander of the SOF unit of the Armed Forces. In additit, one provided fire support from Dashalty, the other blocked the Lachin corridor.

One of the attacking groups had to climb the steep rocks with ropes+
The groups attacking the city were lightly equipped. Their equipment included knives, pistols, grenades, and some had RPGs. No Azerbaijani artillery and drone support were used. The city had large Armenian presence, including heavy equipment, like tanks
ARM officials say that they had lost control of the city on 7 November and tried to retake it next day, while AZE accounts also suggest that operations continued out of the city on 8 November, the day Aliyev announced city's liberation.
Shusha's capture meant that Khankendi/Stepanakert was in danger. Putin stated that the Azerbaijanis would've further advanced and take the city, while Pashinyan stated that 20–30 thousand servicemen in Askeran and Khojavend/Martuni would've been under siege.
