People dance ,eat and everyone is extremely happy. They sing songs to praise prides family. They say how she comes from known family ,they sing about how ancestors who were warriors. Its all about the bride then groom family
His family do exactly the same as the bride family they sing about his ancestors . Food never stops. Sweets flying everywhere. Its absolutely beautiful celebrations not like UK where its one night only then after 7 days they come for party to celebrate her been a woman
The bride and groom are left for 7 days with one helper that cooks & cleans. The first night of been married is where the nightmare begins. Mostly would have had Type 3 which infibulation means almost total seal of her genital
If she is like that . May God help her. Her husband must have sex. The next morning families of both side come to see if she is a virgin. This means blood on her bed and as you can imagine she would be in unimaginable pain. They will celebrate and dance and be extremely proud
Yet this has to continue for 7 days( bloody 7 days). The nightmare for girls. The celebrations turn into trauma. The girls most end up in hospital because of infections or her husband couldn't benetrate then he is deemed not strong or manly or enough

traumatic. My cousin ended up in hospital for long time. She had infections. She told me she how horrific it was. I remember curling up in the corner praying. Please God safe me . I couldn't imagine that. Total cruel in so many level. She was ripped apart

They ripped us apart as children and now as adult. You will be ripped apart again. Then after 7 days. All the women come together celebrate your womanhood. They celebrate that you are not a virgin anymore. Its a celebrate then again which causes pain
Been ripped apart is a celebration. These is crazy . 200 million women and girls worldwide have been mutilated. 800 girls each day are mutilated. 170.000 survivors and victim live in UK. 3 million girls are at risk each year in Africa alone.
