I learned about the academy when @AFCAjax signed @KudusMohammedGH from @FCNordsjaelland, because i thought: “How did he get there?” I did some research and found out he was a part of the “Right to Dream” academy..
So, a bit of info about Right to Dream. Right to Dream is a project in Africa to let African talents show how good they are. If the scouts thinks their good enough, they let them go to their clubs to have a trial at the club or play for the U19’s, U21’s, U23’s or the main team.
@unisportlife posted 2 videos about 3 talents who progressed from the academy, who i’ll be talking about later. It opens a world for African starlets to show how good they are. As you guys know, Africa isn’t the best place to be for children. The people aren’t really wealthy..
Football is the passion of many young African children. It’s their escape from the tough world they live in. They do everything to play for the big teams in Europe, make a lot of money to help their families back in Africa and do what they like: playing football.
Right to Dream has a partnership with @FCNordsjaelland, and you can see some Right to Dream talents playing for @FCNordsjaelland right now, which i will talk about later. Their partnership helps young players to really break through in Europe..
As you can see in this graph I got from the Right to Dream website, 38(!) talents from the Right to Dream academy live their dream of playing professional football now. Quite the impact!
The academy itself is located in Ghana, which you can see in the Nationality of the players. A big part of the players has a Ghanian nationality, but it isn’t only Ghana who provides the prospects..
Cote d’Ivoire also provides quite a few talents. The talents i’ll be talking about are mostly Ghanian, but there is a Ivorian guy between it aswell.
So, lets talk about the talents!
Up first, we have @KudusMohammedGH, who is an @AFCAjax player at the moment. Kudus also started at the Right to Dream academy. He broke through at @FCNordsjaelland and signed for @AFCAjax for a fee of €9 million.

Up next, we have @Kamaldeen_14, who is one of the recent talents. Featured in the @unisportlife documentary, now scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists for @FCNordsjaelland in the @Superligaen.
Now, arriving at number 3, we have Mohammed Diomande, also featured in the @unisportlife documentary, who plays as a midfielder for @FCNordsjaelland, who scored 3 times and provided 2 assists in the league. Diomande is from Cote d’Ivoire, and not from Ghana, like most others.
Up fourth, we have @AbuFrancis16, who is from Ghana, and also plays in midfield. He also is a huge talent, and kind of gives me Kudus vibes. Francis scored 3 times and provided 1 assist in the Superligaen.
And up last, we have Eric Oteng, who also featured in the @unisportlife documentary. Oteng plays for the U19’s but already scored once and assisted once in the U19 league of Denmark. He still has to make his debut for the senior team.
This is the end of the thread! Please make sure to like, RT and follow, because this took a lot of time
There a lot of more talents coming from the academy, but you can have a look yourself in the linked sources!
