The transgender child is an American invention. It is a business concept developed by US academics, pharma companies, and health professionals to exploit paediatric medicine and gender for profit. This concept has now been successfully exported to the EU Canada, Australia, NZ.
Behind the trans-child exists a child suffering from gender confusion. One that grows up in a misogynistic society that devalues women and anything feminine in men. No wonder young girls especially grow to hate their bodies and the regressive gender constructs forced upon them.
Some try to escape their toment by seeking to become the other gender or neither. Who can blame them. The "trans kid" business model has been established for precisely these children and meticulously targets them. We collude with this exploitation.
As a society rather than reflect on our part in the horrendous pain we inflict on our children through gender constructs we allow dissenters to be commodified and medicalised. This allows us to pretend it is the child at fault, not our society. It suits businesses as well.
And is it any surprise that it is in capitalist and the most misogynistic societies that the transgender industry has grown the fastest.
So let's not accept the "trans child" business concept, and instead acknowledge and validate the pain of our children.
