•To be clear, no one’s asking you to be LGBT+, we’re simply asking that you recognise that LGBT+ fans exist and have a right to enjoy football
“X LGBT+ fans group is why X team is performing badly”
• Well in that case, Liverpool winning the title last year must be down to @LFC_LGBT

“Why should I have to see this, it’s against my religion”
• All religions have plenty of LGBT+ people who also practice
“I’m going to have to support another club”
• All Premier League clubs are supportive of #RainbowLaces so good luck finding one that will accept your bigotry
“What about Straight people?”
• Thankfully, straight people haven’t been made to feel uncomfortable on occasion, when watching or playing football. LGBT+ people should be able to enjoy football like anyone else, it’s just a case of being considerate
And as always, as well as the inevitable comments there have also been plenty of allies coming forward to stand up and kick LGBT+phobia out of football. Have a great #RainbowLaces weekend and #COYG
