Currently, police are seeking to arrest Celtic fans who went to last Sunday’s demonstration. Not the very small minority who may have caused disorder, but any fan who went to the stadium as an expression of protest, to be charged with breach of the peace for their mere presence.
This is a disproportionate attack on football supporters, fuelled by political point scoring and a vindictiveness within Police Scotland. For anyone who was present last week - know your rights. Do not let the police enter your home without a warrant. Get in touch if we can help.
For those perhaps planning to attend Celtic Park tomorrow, either as a show of support for the team or as a form of protest at the direction of the club, take precautions and do not park near the stadium.
