Few observations from Punjabi Movies:

1) Good Guy is always sikh, rich, well settled, beautiful looking, dashing personality and goes to gurudwara, speaks truth, respect everyone, is a jatt
2) Bad guy is always a hindu, ugly looking ( not fair), are poor, goes to pakhandi baba.

3)Rarely any punjabi movie is made where main lead is a Punjabi Hindu. It's always sikh, cut sikh or jatt.
4) Every punjabi movie will show how Sikhs are serving society and every hindu corrupt minister, gunda or don is doing crimes.

5) Not one Hindu Temple is shown in punjabi movies even though more than 40% population of punjab is Hindu.
6) No historical movies shows any place of significance for hindu Punjabis. All period film show jatt Sikhs, gurudwaras and muslims only. No hindu representation.

Many hindu actors were the foundations of this punjabi cinema back in 80, 90s but after mann takeover it's all about Sikhs, Sikhs of Canada, Sikhs of uk, Sikhs of us. They will show muslims of west punjab but won't show anything for punjabi hindus.

Shubhash Dadhwal ( Varinder), A hindu punjabi actor. He was one the pioneer in creating Punjabi cinema. He was assassinated by separatist in a terror attack in 1988 at Ludhiana. #hindupunjabi #punjabihindu #hindusofpunjab

Something about punjab which is not known to all: INSPIRATION FOR GOLDEN TEMPLE: DURGIANA MANDIR , AMRITSAR PUNJAB INDIA. It was initially built in 16 century and lateron renovated in 20 century. Harimandir sahib is exactly copy of this hindu temple #hindusofpunjab #punjabihindu
