A friend told me that $BASE does not use TWAP (aka average) for their rebase mechanism. The rate is based on the price during rebase time (t).

Which means that degen whales have the incentive to push up the prices before t to spike the %.

Now that's some insane game theory
Or conversely, they could mass sell to crush it before (t) to devalue the %
