Suarez: Juve under investigation.
What’s the status and what the Club could risk?

Here a recap from @guido_vaciago

First of all Paratici and the two Juventus lawyers are not under investigation for corruption but for false information to the prosecutor.
This is already a good indication because if it had been corruption it would risk much more, both at a sporting and criminal level.
It’s worth to remind that two weeks before the exam, Juventus communicated to Suarez and to the press that they were no longer interested in signing him because, after inquiring, they realized that there was no technical time to obtain the citizenship.
An investigation by itself is not a conviction or even an indictment but what is Juventus risking at sporting level?
If corruption is somehow proven (having promised something in exchange for the promotion of Suarez), Sport’s Judge could punish even the intention alone with a penalty ranging from fine to relegation but the latter hypothesis is substantially impossible...
... precisely because the violation was not worn out. In between the two extremes there would be penalty points.
If instead corruption is not proven, everything should be resolved with a fine.
Calculating the consequences for Juve at this point in the investigation is almost impossible but confidence and a certain tranquility emerge from the latest official Juventus press release.
