Let me be absolutely clear: Porn is evil, from the pit of Hell. If we had even remotely just laws, its production and distribution would be staunchly illegal.

If you could hear the pain and suffering it wreaks on people...

The idea that you could separate sexual exploitation from pornography is laughable. It's absurd. Everything about porn is exploitative. It's the beauty and glory of human love mutilated, degraded, and objectified by Mammon. It's exploitation monetized and optimized for profit.

I can't believe someone could walk away from the story that's told by that article and conclude, "Well, it can't be porn - it has to be the lack of consent." Good God.

Every apology for pornography is an apology for the demonic.

Every excuse for pornography is an excuse for the torture and agony it causes those it addicts and afflicts.

There is absolutely nothing redeeming or excusable about it.

We absolutely have to be brave enough to say that this is bad, to the core. There's nothing redeemable here. Nothing has changed about the human person. What was evil and exploitative before remains so. We have learned nothing new.

Any idea of "human progress" that includes the sexual exploitation typified by pornography is "progress" straight towards the pits of Hell, and the undoing of everything genuinely human and good.

The only identifiable similarity between the men who perpetrate mass shootings is the kind of violent attitude toward women perpetuated by pornography. That is its essence.
