In tonight's #AskABC6, I couldn't answer every question we received on the air, so here are a few others...
Dr. Jospeh Gastaldo: "The vast majority of people will do fine with it. There may be a small amount of people who feel off kilter for 24-hours. They may have fatigue. They may have a headache. They may have muscle aches and pains. That’s your body‘s immune response."

Dr. Gastaldo also said this: "That’s your body‘s way of mounting a good antibody response, a good immune response, and it tells me you’re going to have a good degree of immunity from this virus.”
Another viewer asked if it's possible to get a COVID-19 infection from the vaccine.

Dr. Gastaldo's answer: "You cannot get COVID-19 from any vaccine that’s in phase 3 trials, currently happening in the United States.”

Q: Can COVID-19 can be prevented by the flu vaccine?

Dr. Gastaldo: "COVID-19 is caused by coronavirus. H1N1 is caused by a different virus, influenza. So we’ve never had a vaccine for a coronavirus. That’s why the H1N1 vaccine won’t have any effect on this novel coronavirus."
Lastly, I asked Dr. Gastaldo how confident he is in the vaccine.

Dr. Gastaldo: "As a person of science, when there is a vaccine that is FDA approved and CDC recommended, I feel quite confident in rolling my sleeve up and getting the vaccine when it’s available..."
"...and recommending that vaccine to my family members and most importantly, recommending that vaccine for my patients.”
