Alito, who is the second most conservative justice behind Thomas, set that date for Pennsylvania response for a reason. To buy the Trump team time to get there case to the respective justices presiding over the respective circuits. In time. 2/4.
Thomas was given GA. Alito- PA. ACB- WI. MI- Kavanaugh. This was done for a reason. The fact Thomas swore in ACB is very telling. It’s his court now. They’re all going to rally around him. It will be a 5-4 decision. 3/4.
You can’t seriously suggest DJT didn’t know this may possible end up in the Supreme Court after the mail in ballot fiasco. He obviously considered his next justice VERY CAREFULLY with this eventuality in mind. I believe ACB is very conservative and her ruling on NY shows it. 4/4.
