One wore blue (Jeff Burke) and one wore grey (John Olson). And they are finally reunited for the first time in 40 years on my podcast:

Around 1978, the legendary "Two Brothers" family photo shoot took place. Imagineer Bob McCarthy plays Pa and Imagineer Louise Hirshberg plays Ma. According to the brothers, the little sisters were hired from an agency. The baby would be 42 this year! (3/9)
Gary Krueger was the brilliant photographer for the Mathew Brady-themed images seen in the Two Brothers segment. This particular shot was taken with John Olson on the Disney backlot. (4/9)
The train station funeral was shot at the Disneyland Railroad, with the sign added for additional effect. (5/9)
TRIGGER WARNING! John Olson was given extensive make-up for the photo shoot of his character's death. It was featured on a postcard that was sold at EPCOT when the attraction first opened. (6/9)
John Olson was able to get a picture with his audio-animatronic, but Jeff Burke never got the chance. (7/9)
John Olson's Two Brothers likeness was used for one of the vikings with his son at the Norway pavilion ride, "Maelstrom." Years later, it was used again for one of Disneyland Haunted Mansion ballroom dancers during an update!
