Misdemeanor arrests are taken to the Olympia Municipal Jail on Plum St. Tiny jail, only a couple staff. Processing takes a long time for group arrests but individual arrests can often be bailed out within a few hours (sometimes before you even get your phone call).
Felony arrests are taken to "Thurston County Accountability & Restitution Center" aka Thurston County Jail on Ferguson St in Tumwater. Have to sit in jail for the weekend before bail setting hearing on Monday morning.
Once bail is set Mon. morning we will either be able to bail you out, or you may be released on your own recognizance, or we may need to discuss options for attempting to get bail lowered or securing a bond.
Make sure you have a plan ahead of time for what you want in case you're arrested, and make sure your crew knows to call us right away if you're arrested. We don't support fascists or people who give the state information on others.
We can get you out faster if your crew lets us know to be on the lookout for you!
And remember, the ONLY things you should tell the police if you're arrested are your name, mailing address, and then "I'm going to remain silent. I want to speak to my lawyer. I don't consent to any searches." That's it!
