I want to tell you a story about the Sask Party’s first week back at the Legislature.

We met for four days, and in those four days, they said four terrible, horrible, no good, very bad things that show us exactly who they are. #skpoli
No 1: New Sask Party Health Minister Paul Merriman refused to advocate for widespread vaccination -- or condemn the disinformation of anti-vaxxers. As Health Minister, shouldn’t he be promoting #COVID19SK vaccine use and educating people on why it’s important?
No 2: Merriman also said it isn’t the government’s job to counter misinformation about #COVID19SK, passing the buck to journalists to ensure people have good public health information. He's ducking his job and blaming journalists for his own failures.
No 3: Minister for Corrections Christine Tell said she doesn’t know how #COVID19SK outbreaks happened in correctional facilities & won’t bother finding out. One Saskatoon facility has 130 cases & it's clear this government’s preparations were inadequate. She simply doesn’t care.
They were eventually forced to delete that #WorldAIDSDay post ☝️ and apologize, and yet they continue to do nothing to support harm reduction measures needed to stop the spread of HIV in Saskatchewan.
I can’t stress it enough: this callous, ignorant incompetence has life-and-death consequences for Saskatchewan families.

Saskatchewan deserves better. [/end]
