WAIT NO IM NOT DONE I WANTED TO ADD MORE TO THIS FOR SOME REASON

You see real life companies do this ALL THE TIME. Think about it! 👇 https://twitter.com/JusagiR/status/1334951955303579649
It's very easy for companies to find your email and spam you with garbage newsletters. Even if 0.1% of people actually open it, it's a numbers game. If they have a database of ten million emails, that's still 10,000 people who "engaged". That means you're moving down the funnel.
Once you signal to the company you're engaged, maybe you get more aggressive emails? Maybe you start getting phone calls now? You're now a slightly warmer lead which means you're sliiiightly more likely to buy from them one day.
Live example time! Lets say I wanted to sell you my Jusagi (TM) limited edition sneakers. Only three payments of $299.99 and made from the finest overseas sweatshops!

I steal your email from somewhere and begin sending you tons of emails. Maybe one day you open one đź‘€
Now I know you've at least seen my brand name. You know start seeing YouTube ads for Jusagi sneakers. Twitter ads, Reddit ads, popups on every site you go to. You can't escape Jusagi!!

Even so you ignore those ads. You don't need shoes right now.

Or DO YOU?!
Boom. Ten weeks later. It's your nephew's birthday. You just got paid 900 bucks. He loves sneakers. Now where can you find high quality custom sneakers for around that price?

Jusagi.
Consulting.
Co.

The trap is set.
You become a happy customer of Jusagi limited edition sneakers. Your nephew is confused why there's an anime girl on his sneakers but he appreciates the gift. You feel happy about your purchase. You leave a five star review.

And the cycle continues over and over and over.
I... Don't know why I typed all that. I'm just sitting in my car typing this all down furiously. I think I need to take a nap.

Uhh I hope you enjoyed this story! This is all true and tens of thousands of businesses are doing this right now. Hooray for capitalism!
