Malakai would not have survived a streamed show. A trans man comfortable with his femininity, with a heavy drinking problem and an overblown ego where he has a hard time listening to other people if he thinks he has a better idea? He’d get torn apart.
Not to mention his relationship???? Could not imagine the bullshit he and his partner would get. Failed one night stand where his eventual partner was like “ok that’s chill” and just moved onto the yuan-to rogue? People would think we were queerbaiting I’m SURE of it.
Connor would get demolished. Or even worse, he’d get the “uwu evil baby boy!!!!” Treatment and have absolutely all nuance sucked out of him in fandom in favor of “uwu sweet bean who did nothing wrong!!!”
