“... who both made no promises to you...”

I want to touch on this part because some folks in the CR fandom (& other fandoms as well) need to hear this.

CR may be a media that you can access but it was NEVER made FOR you. Point blank. Period. —> https://twitter.com/matthewmercer/status/1334789336470962177
I constantly see discourse where the community believes not just they know where the story is going but that THEY know what is best for a character they had NO PART in creating.

& then they have the gall to either confront or speak out to the CR team & it’s like back tf up. —>
Some of y’all DESPERATELY need to understand two things.

1) Boundaries exist for a reason. Don’t get too comfortable. Which brings us to...

2) Parasocial relationships. You are NOT as close to these people as you think & yes — the product THEY created is a part of that. —>
It’s okay to have feelings about a character you’ve connected to over the years. What’s NOT okay is to speak out about your feelings to those creators, as if you were the end all be all of their stories because YOU wanted something different. —>
Most importantly, some of y’all need to learn some damn RESPECT.

I do not care if you follow the CR folk (or anyone honestly). You are NOT their friend. You are barely an associate. When they do something you don’t agree with — you don’t get to cry in their face. —>
They did not create this story and the characters within for YOU & they will NEVER cater to you just because you tell them too.

Respect the decisions THEY make and understand they’ve created a beautiful story that will continue on with or without you.

End of story.
