đŸ€Ș If we looked at agencies like how most recruiters look at books:
-You have a lot of stunt work, so, you're stunt agency.
-Most of your work are banners, so you only produce banners, can you DO print, outdoor, branding?
-Few financial accts...you specialize in financial stuff.
-Don't have any fashion brands, I don't believe you could do a collab w/Prada.
-I see you had a pharma client for 5yrs, sophisticated drug innovations...so, you're a pharma agency! Not convinced you could a beer spot. You need beer experience.
-Never heard of you... pass.
-Thanks for pitching for our QSR acct, appreciate your interest, and your presentation was solid, never seen such crafted work, good ideas...but you've never done any food or QSR, so we went with someone who has.
-Didn't win award for best [whatever]... pass.
-All your work on your site looks amazing! Excellent design. So you're a design firm then, but the work is so conceptual, are you a design or ad agency?
-Your agency work & background is, unusual. Looks different, different approach, different structure, I don't think it's a fit.
-You don't have other office locations, been solo as a company...how can I believe you can do the kind of work these large network agencies do?
-I don't see on your agency site work for X,Y,Z industries, so, am doubtful you could create work for us.
-I've only checked off 35 of the 40 agency criteria on the list. You may have the potential to be an awesome AOR for us, but our list is incomplete. I'll keep you on file.
