One lesson of history is that anti-semitism simultaneously casts Jews as an elite cabal of capitalists and an intellectually subversive community of socialists. In an attempt to crush the nonsense of the former, liberals are attacking some real activists in the latter.

Jewish communitied are as diverse as everyone else but the centrist Labourites hate that there are Jewish people who do not conform to their imagined, reductive categories of Pro-Israel, anti-Corbyn neoliberals. It tortures them that Jewish people might be diverse and real.

And so in their quest to crush resistance to their crusade they are actually expelling and silencing Jewish people. This is actually about imperialism whose logic has always been to mute progressive voices in every minority community and amplify those who argue for status quo

It won't work though. All it does is confirm what we already know. Starmer and his cabal dont care about actual Jewish people. They care only about a fantastical and compliant Jewishness that suits the priorities of British imperialism. Beyond that they couldn't care less.
