There are 800 billionaires in the United States, doubling in just a few years.

Spending $1000/day, you'd burn through $1M in 3 years
Spending $1000/day, you'd finally spend $1B in 2,740 years
Spending $5000/day, it'd take 500 years to spend $1B
Why is the number of billionaires increasing? Our laws keep changing to be more and more in favor of the uber-wealthy. What is the purpose of catering to people with so much money that they can't possibly spend it?
We all have the same 24 hours in a day, and I'm all for people being paid fairly and having the chance to earn more. But at a certain point, it's RIDICULOUS. There is ZERO chance that anyone's work is worth what billionaire's earn, all while others literally starve.
I was raised to honor and admire billionaires and I'm just so over it. What reasonable person has $900M and thinks, "not enough!" All I want for Christmas is for us to stop honoring greed.
