If you sit there and say that just because someone used to be much worse with their words and actions dealing with equity/equality/cultural sensitivity so we should be glad that they're the way they are now, you fundamentally don't understand the problem in the first place. 1/

And, look. I get it. You love a popular true crime podcast and think that because they've grown, they should be free from criticism... but that's not how it works. You have to challenge people to be better. 3/
Public figures especially, really. Just because you tout yourself as the epitome of feminism doesn't mean you're automatically aware of how your actions may effect BIPOC people, the GRSM community, and multitudes of other marginalized groups. 4/
We grow when we're called out on our shitty behavior. And if YOU are being called out, be willing to listen and examine what you're doing. We all have bias that we can work on, whether explicit or implicit. 5/
