Hi! This is Madeleine Blaustein, one of my favorite voice actors.

You'll know her as the voice for Meowth, Lt. Surge, Dr. Kurhea, E-123 Omega and more.

She was also Jewish, bisexual, intersex, and trans, and was working in her field during her transition.
I adore imitating her voices whenever I can, and have been doing so since I was little ever since her role as Lt. Surge in Pokémon Puzzle League.
4Kids hired her at a time when someone like her was a "high-risk liability" to many other companies, and then gave her a top role on one of the most successful animated franchises of all time.
She played an amazing variety of roles to super gruff and hulking characters like Zygor, to intimidating and fun feminine characters like Dr. Kurhea.

She also did a ton of activism and 3DCG art on Second Life in her later years under the pseduonym Kendra Bancroft.
She lived such an amazing live, but sadly on Dec 11th in 2008 she passed away due to an untreated stomach infection at the age of 48.

She was buried in a Jewish cemetary under her deadname.

I recommend that you go back and explore her life, roles and accomplishments today. RIP.
