1️⃣ Does this program align with my personal and professional goals?

2️⃣ Will I receive the training I need for community and/or academic practice? If you are unsure of your future plans, go with a program that will prepare you for both.

3️⃣ Will I be free to be my authentic self? (Think long and hard on what this means for you)
4️⃣ Will I be supported in my professional goals? (research, mentorship, national committees, participating in national programs etc).

5️⃣Are the residents happy? Do they feel supported and support each other?
