Here’s the problem with people who identify as “Christian Conservatives” believing, repeating and even inventing lies:

Not only is it explicitly condemned in God’s Word (Leviticus 19:11, Colossians 3:9, Revelation 21:8) but it undermines our other stated goals.

If we repeat lies about simple things - like most of the things that President Trump says (sorry - he lies a lot!) or any of that crazy QAnon stuff, who’s going to believe us when we tell them that Jesus is Lord? Or that babies in the womb are not just a “clump of cells?”

If we sacrifice and destroy our credibility by lying and condoning lying, how can God use us to communicate anything to the world and be believed?

The Lord is asking the world to put their faith in a God we cannot see. Faith comes by hearing God’s Word. Which is where we’re supposed to come in.

But how are people going to hear it if we’ve taught them to not believe a word that we say?
