I want to bring to your notice 3 of the biggest problems of Social Media for Indian Users like me.

1. Promotion of Left Wing Ideology
2. Supression of Right Wing/Indic Wing
3. Drastic Increase in Hinduphobia

Social Media isn’t just a mere application in 2020 but a tool that can mould ideologies, therefore, it’s imp to check what type of ideologies is it promoting.

1. Many LW Portals and Accounts were caught spreading hatred but...

no action is taken against their accounts or posts on SM, neither is their reach affected.

Some of propaganda pages usually start with:

Criticising the policies of Govt

Spreading Fake Narrative in the name of FOS

Then, they question everything related to Hindu Dharma

From Gurus to practices to culture to Hindu Kings and Gods, no one is spared by them.

But the SM Platforms don’t find anything wrong with them. OTOH, our content which exposes those lies are “SPREADING HATRED” according to them.

2. Supression of Right Wing/Indic Wing
Social Media Platforms headed by people who claim to be Champions of Free Speech are against RW/IW Pages. The RW/IW pages all kinds of supression. From being shadow banned to account getting suspended.

The posts of RW/IW are deleted for no reason. Even if RW/IW pages share news, these platforms delete it and the reason they usually get is that “The post is creating hatred”

Ex: If RW make a post on Palghar Sadhu issue or Rajasthan Priest issue and share it along with the video, then our posts are deleted. OTOH, when the LWs share videos of protests like ANTI-CAA or FARM BILL which are also violent in nature, their posts are not DELETED!

The RW/IW pages are shadow banned every now and then. Admins can’t use most of the Social Media features like “Going Live” “Sharing Content on our stories”, “Sending Messages to Others”

The reach is also drastically reduced as well.

The RW/IW pages are SUSPENDED or from SM without proper explanations.

Recently, many big accounts were either suspended or shadow banned without any explanations and that too within few days. Is it algorithm or something else?

3. Hinduphobic Content
For Hinduphobic Content, all I can ask you is to look at the images attached below.

This Hindu Hatred is being normalised and SM platforms have failed to keep them in check.

Criticising BJP & Critising Hindu are the same?

The RW/IW faces all these issues, from accusations like “IT Cell Worker to “Threats” to “Extremely Decreased reach” to “Account Suspension”, but the people who really spread fake news and hatred are not taken care off.

I hope you’ve seen the role of SM in influencing the USA elections. The same role can be played in the 2024 upcoming elections. We’ve already seen how fake news and hatred were spread during “Ayodhya Verdict”, “CAA PROTESTS” & “Farm Bill Protests”

You’ve also seen how a complete of video of Amit Malviya was called manipulated, the video which was complete.

The flagging of @amitmalviya Tweet should be a wake up call for centre.

Also, these LW target the youth on SM as majority if the SM users are b/w 13-26.

They’re made to hate their own Hindu Culture, Dharma, History & Practises.

Their ideologies are moulded & not addressing this issue is serious.

I’d like to ask the following:

Is Hinduphobia & spreading hatred against us is FOS?

Why is FOS selective on SM?

Why’re the ppl whose job is to tell facts get away by spreading fake news so easily?

Does SM have the right to decide which ideology is right & which isnt?
