How (and why) did Bow & Arrow pass $10,000 in sales in less than a week?

Thread on how to murder a Twitter product launch.

RT to spread the knowledge!
Topics we'll cover in this thread:

-How to crush your launch
-When should you monetize?
-Imposter syndrome
-I'll get a little personal on how much this means to me

As usual, RT's of the top tweet are appreciated.

Let us begin:
Question #1:

What makes a launch successful?

Many things.

But first let's go over what does NOT make a launch successful:

-Hype

-Building in public

-Follower count

These are all great.

But if you want to make BIG $$$, there's one thing you should do:
Prove it works.

"Show me don't tell me."

Examples:

-I could tell you that I know Twitter.

+Or I could SHOW you the numbers I get for my clients.

- @PaikCapital could tell you his agency course is good (it is)

+Or he could show you revenue screenshots from customers
I shared everything:

-Testimonials
-Engagement from clients
-Revenue screenshots
-Ghostwriting tricks

This wasn't to flex.

This was to show you that if you used Bow & Arrow you WILL get results.

Here's a pic hermano @devinmcdermot took from B&A:
Answer to question 1 (What makes up a successful launch?):

Proof of work.
Which leads us to the next question:

[When should you monetize?]

It depends on how legit people think you are.

I launched at 14k because that was when I established myself as a legit account with my ghostwriting work.

You could launch at 3k if you did it before.
Share everything you do along the way:

-Client work
-Your own results
-Before & afters
-Screenshots (lots of screenshots)

When people keep ask you stuff like:

-How did you do it?
-How can I do that too?

That's when you know people are interested.

Launch.
Answer to question 2 (When should you launch?):

When your audience starts asking you how did you achieve your proof of work.
Question 3: How do you crush your launch?

Hype it for a week or two.

Your product can be sold in 14 tweets.

Show people what you're good at
Tell them you're building something for them
Show them where they'll be after they consume your course
Here's where we borrow some topics from copywriting:

-Make content that agitates a big problem
-Make a big promise with your hype launch
-Give a unique mechanism that makes you different
-Share proof

Your launch should include a mix of these.

(I call it real time copywriting)
Example with B&A:

Big problem: You're underpaid.

Big promise: You'll get paid thousands of dollars if you use B&A.

Unique mechanism: I'm a ghostwriter doing it for 5 different accounts.

Proof: Engagement + Revenue screenshots

(See below)
Answer 3 (How do you crush your launch):

Real time copywriting.
Question 4: What if I'm not good enough to launch something?

This is a bit of a controversial area but I figured there's a solution:

If you get results outside Twitter, you're allowed to sell products on Twitter.

Let me explain:
If you claim to be a copywriter but don't have clients, don't sell a course.

If you claim to be ANYTHING but you don't have practice, don't sell a course.

Transparency:

I was not comfortable selling B&A before.

I didn't have any proof.

There was zero reason to believe me.
So if you want to make a lot of money on Twitter, the solution is not easy, but simple:

Do something outside Twitter.

I came to Twitter with 0 skills and I had to bite the bullet and learn something.

If this is you,

Learn a skill.
Solution to question 4: "What if I'm not good enough to sell something?"

Answer:

If you're getting results outside Twitter, you're good enough to sell on Twitter.

If you're not, you're not.
Question 5: "How much does this mean to me?"

A lot.

Truly.

Transparency time: I used to get paid $250 a MONTH.

$250.

Last week I made $10k.

That's more than 3 years of salary for me.

You have

no

fucking

idea

how much I appreciate you.
I want to thank some people.

Appreciation train coming up:
Thank you to @oliviercantin because if it wasn't for him I would've launched B&A (first version) at 2k followers.

Imagine how disastrous that would've been:

-No experience
-Shitty product
-Imposter syndrome

Gracias Oliver.
Thank you to @ROGUEWEALTH for the support when I lost my 15k follower account.

Gracias Wiz.
Thank you to @bannedvertising for helping me with the angle.

He took one glance at my launch and told me how to angle it, what to say, what to change, what to improve.

He truly made me launch different.

Gracias Bronze.
