So based from my research, this is the first drama where the nine tailed fox or “gumiho” is a man. Korean folklore says that gumihos are usually alluring women who seduce humans to eat their livers.

To create a boy gumiho is something new, which makes the drama interesting.
You can expect Lee Dong Wook to give justice to Lee Yeon’s character. A rich, good looking, trendy, nonchalant, but smart nine tailed fox who waited for one girl for 600 years.

He is powerful & has a strong personality, but will do anything for love.
Of course, this is Kim Bum’s comeback drama. And I must say, he didn’t seem like he took a break for 2 years at all. You’ll love his character here, and he’s just perfect fit for it. The story behind his vengeful character will make you want to know more.
The characters & stories are mostly based from korean myths & legends, & not just the usual fantasy stuff created by the writers. They researched enough & did a good job giving life to korean folklore.

It makes the drama feel more real, reflecting korea’s culture & beliefs.
The drama didn’t just use ghosts like what other fantasy dramas do. It used real characters from korean folklore like the Snail Bride, Bulgasari, Imoogi, gumihos, & more. That’s why it actually made me learn more about korean myths & legends.
The stories the drama depicted & the situations that the characters faced can make your blood ran cold. It’s in a different level of being eerie. The fact that it’s mostly based from korea’s old stories made it more realistic, which is very much impressive on their part.
They showed traditional settings & characters in a modern & trendy way. The afterlife gatekeeper who uses a desktop & drinks iced americano, the afterlife immigration w/c uses power point presentation & a big tv to brief those who died, & more

It makes the drama more interesting
A love story that defies the rules of the two worlds. A fox who fell in love with a human. But the drama included more twists & turns which made their story more thrilling & beautiful at the same time.
Didn’t thought i would need Lee Dong Wook & Kim Bum in one screen. The hottest & most handsome gumiho brothers ever.

Their story is one of the highlights of the drama. It will be a roller coaster ride, but will surely bring warmth to your heart. ❤️
Ji Ah’s character is not just one of a damsel in distress. She’s strong, independent, & brave. She sees the world a little differently from others, and that led her to solve the mysteries of her life & to meet the one who loved her thousands of years ago.

👏🏻 to Jo Bo Ah
This tandem!! The most stylish foxes ever. Their visuals are no joke that you would also probably want to ship them after watching the first few eps. 😆

Their story is another part of the drama, and their character development will make it more interesting.
In conclusion, don’t miss this beautiful drama!! The story is one thing, and the characters are another. Both will keep you wanting to watch more. Hope this thread helps!!
