This is the dynamic I wrote about in my @NBCNews Op Ed.

Trump wants at least one state to flip based on his allegations of voter fraud.

Not because that will give him the election, but because that will offer credibility to his larger claims. https://twitter.com/joshtpm/status/1334891896859193348
This Politico piece captures the GOP attitude to Trump since 2016.

They enable him because they think they'll benefit from him.

They're happy to let him turn out voters for them, but are "worried" his own interests will diverge from theirs. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/12/03/trump-georgia-rally-senate-442484
Even if Trump implodes the GOP, winning both seats is still difficult.

But there'd be poetic justice in Trump exploding the Georgia GOP in a fit of rage and handing the Senate to the Democrats on his way out the door.

If I were plotting a novel, that would be the ending.
Well, well, well. I wonder what Trump thinks about David Perdue complimenting Biden as a better negotiator than Trump and blaming Trump for GOP losses?

Not that I'd want to tell Trump and try to stir up the GOP civil war in Georgia.
