I've been watching the various posts around the WoA virtualization on the M1 for about a week now. I think it's freaking awesome that something like this happened faster than I expected and the hype around it is great.

With that said, y'all... It's time to get real.
I keep seeing tons and tons of comments that are only focused on slam dunking the SQ1/SQ2 over the numbers game. I mean, shit the Geekbench scores are impressive, I'm not gonna lie at all. What I'm really curious about is what y'all are gonna do with it.
I want to see people using Windows on Arm like it's their primary OS, running things like they normally would. I want to see y'all engaging with honest intentions, because this sole "LEL LEL it's faster than Microsoft's stuff LEL LEL, all hail Apple" bs is noise.
I love Windows, Mac, & Linux. I'm not tied down to one platform & when I use them, I USE THEM. Get beyond that slam dunkin & show me what's really good. Get involved with the Windows on Arm community. Talk to those who have genuine WoA devices and get a feel for the full picture.
Developers, I've been waiting for this...

If you're part of those running the virtualized WoA on M1...

Start porting/targeting Windows ARM64 for your apps. You now have a way to test those workloads, UTILIZE IT.

Don't sit back and turn your head now, get involved.
There's tons of developers that have cross platform apps who quickly hopped on adding support to Apple Silicon in their build process. If y'all aren't planning to take the time to explore targeting Windows on Arm into the mix now, then we're at the same crossroads.
So get them LOLs out of your system now and show me some cool shit with Windows on Arm. Offer a hand to test the ARM64 apps, develop for it, use the hell out of it. Embrace this platform and be part of the voyage to make it better. That's what I want to see.
