Catching up on Mandelson and others apparently blaming Remainers' alleged role in Hard Brexit.

It's like a film where an ordinary honest guy is wrongly accused of a crime and despite innocence, there's some clear circumstantial evidence pointing to his guilt.
The actual and as-yet-unidentified criminal - a dodgy lawyer as it turns out - even gets involved in trying to nail this poor guy for the crime he didn't commit.

Meanwhile the guy oscillates between anger and despair.
Eventually you reach that scene where even his wife turns against him, because newspaper headlines and the baying mob create sufficient doubt in her mind and are too much to bear.

The guy is Remain. The actual criminal is 'Vote Leave'. Mandelson is the wife.
