Bear in mind, the Canadian @EthicsInSPORT Trans Inclusion Policy says:

'There is a persistent, ingrained assumption in sport, based on comparison of athletic achievement, that individuals whose biology and physiology are at the male end of the sex spectrum have a competitive.. https://twitter.com/WomenandSportCA/status/1334156773394182150
...advantage over individuals whose biology and physiology are at the female end of the sex spectrum'

It is therefore at the extreme, evidence-free end of the advocacy for gender identity ideology spectrum.
As witnesses by the further claim:

'transfemales are not males who became females. Rather these are people who have always been psychologically female but whose anatomy and physiology, for reasons as yet unexplained, have manifested as male'
And, even in high level sport:

'the policy guidance provided by this Expert Working Group recommended that all individuals should be able to
participate in sport in the gender category with which they identify without being required to undergo any kind of medical intervention'
Needless to say the 'Expert Working Group' appears to include just one medical doctor but no biologists or physiologists. It appears to list no ethicists at all. Most 'experts' including Paul Melia – CEO, CCES, appear to have backgrounds in sports administration.
It is also funded by 'the Government of Canada through Sport Canada and the Department of Canadian Heritage'.
So, the policy is funded by the Canadian Government, written by an 'expert panel' including, it seems, no biologists, physiologists or ethicists. Nevertheless, it claims to assesses the science of transgender inclusion in sport ostensibly from an ethical perspective.
