Here's my problem with these monoliths yeah. They've appeared too soon near each other for me to take them serious. Not to mention (as far as I know) from the film 2001; a space Odyssey. Everytime they appear they push (or signify) humans evolution.
Remember at the start of the film it's a bunch of apes in the desert? Hitting each other? Then the black cuboid appears & shortly after it cuts to humans? Evolution jump number 1.
Later in the film. When humans are in space, it's to be around our current time period (roughly now) which would be millions of years since the apes. The guy in space comes across the cuboid again. Soon it cuts to humans in space with more advanced technology. Evo jump #2
This time. In the next scene. They're in space but with technology that rivals movies like Gravity. More advanced i think they're on a planet doing something important. Thats when they come across the 3rd monolith. Evolution jump number 3
I can't remember as i haven't seen the film in years how the next scene happened but shortly after coming across the 3rd cuboid there's that scene where the astronaut is transported into some room. That room is a zoo built by higher dimensional aliens.
When humans have zoo's. They're shitty little spaces for the animals meant to inhabit. Look at the zoo aliens made for humans.
I don't know how long the astronaut spends there but at the end of the film he's old & appears to be in his last moments. That's when it pops up one last time; the monolith.
In touching it. The film ends like this. & I take it it's the same man born again but as you can see. In some higher dimensional (consciousness) sense (if that makes sense). The last & final evolutionary jump. Mankind has transcended itself.
Now, about the film. Some claim it to be the most famous sci-fi film ever. Or the greatest. I disagree but it's a cool film none the less. I promise you you've heard of a reference at some point in your life. If you haven't come across it in a game or movie or tv show etc.
At the beginning of the film. My version was downloaded & so thought i had a faulty version. If you notice at the very beginning it's nothing but pitch black for about 15 mins before the ape scene. That's part of the film.
Do you know why? It's black for a reason. Something is at the front of the camera. What it is? It's the monolith! It's staring at you! Kubrick put the cuboid at the very beginning of the film as if to say it's giving us our own evolutionary jump.
Which brings me back to the silver ones popping up everywhere. They have to be fake.
They appear too close to each other in terms of time proximity. Manmade too. No signifance to them. Someone is playing games.
Remember that hilarioussss episode of grim adventures of billy & Mandy where they ended up as Powerpuff girls cos Mandy smiled & broke the time space continuum? The transition to that was taken directly from the film loool.
