Just a little note to thank my existing clients for keeping communication to a minimum/no communication between bookings/unless to make a booking. Everyone has been so respectful of that lately &
it has made my life far less stressful, by not having endless non booking related messages to read & respond to at the end of each day.
I really appreciate you respecting my time, well being and mental health in this way.

The reality is that I get on well with many of my clients (whom I would theoretically love to talk to all day)and we wouldn’t run out of conversation
I would love to chat to so many of you whom I appreciate, but whilst to you it might just be a bit of chit chat here and there,

keep in mind that what might only be 10 mins with you, quickly adds up when multiplied if I responded&had outside of booking correspondence w every client who messages me,PLUS responding to actual booking enquiries, plus producing content for, managing&responding on social media,
plus doing actual bookings, engaging with peers, plus having civi friendships, university commitments&a full life to live outside of work.

field at the end of the day & it created quite a lot of stress, pressure & guilt for me as I dislike leaving people on read, but also don’t have the time or energy to engage in so much extra curricular correspondence that ads up quickly, even if it’s just a little bit per client.
In my personal life I don’t have social media, keep texts w friends to a minimum and I try to use my phone as little as possible as it’s bad for my mental health. I try to be present and engaged in life by meeting with friends irl instead of spending that time texting.
In the same way I am engaged when I meet my clients by not utilising my phone and giving my undivided attention to you, my civi commitments deserve the same undivided attention and that’s not possible with ever incoming “chit chat” messages.
When I first went private I struggled with setting that boundary & I am SO pleased that my clients today are largely so respectful of it. Please know that I appreciate you so much &it really means a lot to me that you support my well being in this way.
