(Sorry my first thread, it’s bound to be bad.)
(Semi-opinion based)
I have been rewatching the first season of attack on Titan, and I always seem to be confused by the pomegranate when Mikasas-almost-death.
Take a look at that, my fellow die-heart Mikasa Ackerman stans. Not only does the pomegranate represent life and living, but also gore and death.
Here is a theory I have been thinking about for a while now.

So it is common knowledge that Kiyomi needs something from Mikasa, and I believe she needs children due to Mikasa’s very important yet not specified bloodline.
I think the pomegranate can represent Mikasa having a child, giving life, whether it be with Eren, or someone else. And it could really be her or her child dies. Representing the death and blood in the pomegranate.
It has also been hinted so many times that Mikasa is to have children. I am pretty sure there is a thread on it somewhere, but I’m not sure. So for Mikasa to have a child and either her or her child were to pass would represent the pomegranate.
I do not know what to expect for Mikasas future, but that was just a thought/theory I have had picking at my head for a little bit now.

That’s the end of the thread thanks for reading stay safe🤍
Also super sorry for any grammar mistakes, I’m no pro. 🥲
