Track 1 - Dropout (Armageddon) https://open.spotify.com/track/5PNqE04gt871Cgx7w5gtMt?si=y8hABOSETfiEUwRxS2tDqw
A heavy funk instrumental that flex’s the guitar’s muscles. This is a reworking of track 3 from last years ‘All Guitar’ EP. A great one to@open the live shows with!

Track 2 - Woman of No Nation https://open.spotify.com/track/0ErL0R1ewyfrrebpPW3tGa?si=53hZA9wETLyHTYTz2N9wmA Heavy funk metal riffing, driving solos, pulsing drums and swirling organs. The title is a phrase my wife once used to describe her cultural identity. It started life as a cover of You Haven’t Done Nothing by Stevie Wonder!
Track 3 - Metro https://open.spotify.com/track/3zr1mk8yJBvnfIg4CLfTtp?si=HBt03sHsTLyWgnJJpeVYzA Heavy riffs, heavy drums, heavy guitars and piercing solo breaks. Pacey and sharply executed, the rhythm track was based on the engine roar of a fighter jet!
Track 4 - Five Star Hell https://open.spotify.com/track/431fwuKELpTHgoJ0jSnfSe?si=0Hqf7Va7SpKRmCt5GxrECw A slightly lighter approach to instrumental rock guitar, a track interspersed with rhythmic interludes amongst quick fire solo breaks, inspired by a typical day sorting out celebrity dramas in Los Angeles! Thanks @RayDonovan_SHO

Track 5 - Groundswell https://open.spotify.com/track/7zcOt9floJ0vMk73HV7KbN?si=8E-faC1lSC-DwAF8SsXhXg An ethereal, instrumental soundtrack piece. A minor bed allows multitracked guitars to slice through a desolate windswept landscape. This was an exercise in forcing myself to slow down and serve the song! Less is more.
Track 6 - Sludge Farm https://open.spotify.com/track/64MfOvkRt7TC2WktDu2xTK?si=0GRuROlDQQe_thG3C_bIAA A heavy, sludgy, grungy rock instrumental. A pounding rhythm lays the foundations for multitracked guitars and a swirling Hammond organ. This was a nod to my eternal love for the early ‘90’s Seattle rock scene.
Track 7 - Dreadnought https://open.spotify.com/track/4AY7xXoQP2dZGp5sfYklaw?si=SmuXtKLrS0e6-M1xfkRZ-w A heavy, sludgy, grungy rock metal instrumental. Pulsing rhythms lay the foundations for multitracked guitars and unrepentant solos. This developed into a protest track with a revolutionary narrative.
Track 8 - In My Life (Redux) https://open.spotify.com/track/2GgvGGZsaDM8H4ZWXPwwCX?si=3nTxaZNhSgKiKYESznZ47w A reworking of a Beatles classic. A solo guitar drifts through a funk-esque reworking, weaving delicate chord patterns with solo stabs. SRV style guitar lines calm the tone of the album.
Track 9 - Bridal Funk https://open.spotify.com/track/4RLzsYIHrp0XKd0LGU6afu?si=y6ATUwoDQ0OaU7Xuv8mK9A A funk metal instrumental reinterpreting the ‘Wedding March’ with off kilter drums, chunky guitars, organs and an ‘Amazing Grace’ outro. Written for family and friends, it now has a life of its own!
Track 10 - Rebel Cow https://open.spotify.com/track/2XwF1YAOjJPapqOUhJ4OqY?si=zQVgiPW2Rfygbfa6LS5SFw An unashamedly punk rock instrumental. Pulsing drums and a driving bassline lay the bed for quickfire guitar rhythms and fast paced solos. A nod to the late ‘80’s/ early ‘90’s speed metal heyday!
Track 11 - Fresh Kills https://open.spotify.com/track/27WU3RvA4QGOqhvVEyrvki?si=AdG2PlAkS-icy4dU-Wm_cg A dreamy off-kilter sequence drops into this rock instrumental. The guitar orchestrates a heavy, swirling track with a high-octane outro. Shades of the early ‘90’s LA rock scene are abundant in this track.
Track 12 - Idle Fears https://open.spotify.com/track/6CSWkHhSGQnCCtHZtvPEtl?si=o5znbDb2Qx-Ekwq5bikJ0w A quick-fire rock instrumental infused with jazz breaks and guitar tracks switching from rhythm to lead. Short, snappy and effective! Originally called ‘Thaasophopia’, that was proving too difficult to spell!
Track 13 - 4-1-4 Eternal Father (Reprise) https://open.spotify.com/track/6bRfCnbCC37jbPpkewaVhH?si=QENF9_CdSniyTJ0YZezyiw An instrumental reinterpreting of “Eternal Father Strong to Save”. Tightly composed guitars that build to a crescendo over a military beat. A tribute to my dad, a navy man of 22 years service...
