I feel very strongly that Democrats are screwing themselves by not doing more media & finding ways to communicate more directly with their constituents.

Is it any wonder so many people associate THEM with what the Democratic Party stands for? Don't complain that "defund the police" led to House losses if you aren't out there giving Americans a different impression of the Democratic Party.

...Democrats who were successfully primaried from the left the last few years. Moreover, because the GOP isn't as much a gerontocracy THEIR pols are closer to their constituents too (Maybe part of the answer is that some of y'all step aside for younger people).
