I am actually writing about the reasons Black people are skeptical about vaccines, but can we just not spread the words of people who don't know what the hell vaccine ingredients are, can we give up on conspiracy theories? https://twitter.com/letitiawright/status/1334667862141755392
There's a lot of profit in conspiracy theories which is one of the reasons so many con artists use them. They're dangerous precisely because they rely on twisting an ugly history. Virologists and epidemiologists are generally outside the public eye so they don't build trust well
But (and this is the thing that matters) while racial bias has obviously not been eradicated, much better laws and protective guidelines are in place now than at any point in human history. And the Modern vaccine has a great success rate https://www.bbc.com/news/health-54902908
Vaccine development has made some amazing strides and as several have come to the public eye, it's important to note that the side effects if they are going to be negative generally show up very quickly. The real questions now are about long term efficacy.
