Conversations about beating children always make me so upset. I understand we have our personal stories about how we were beat and we “turned out fine” but we have to believe we have the capacity to do and be more for our babies.
And we have to believe that our babies are more than an outlet for our anger and frustration
And I say this as someone who beat tf out my little cousins in the past and was beat as a child.
We are adults. There is no reason to put our adult ass hands on children because they didn’t listen
It only shows that we have piss poor communication which makes sense cause many of us didn’t have the best examples. But choose to break a curse and be better for your lineage, your babies, and yourself. It will not be easy either
It will be hard. But I believe in my people enough to not have our babies pick out the tools we will use to beat them. Also statistically, beating doesn’t work. I know the girls love numbers. It doesn’t work.
