or states each having eleven. In your waking state they are eleven- five senses of karma(कर्मेंद्रिय), five senses of Knowledge(ज्ञानेंद्रिय) and one mind. These eleven are counted as thirty three. This means that we have to purify our minds and destroy our evils.

In your awakened state, in your dream state and your deep sleep state, these three stages hold the thirty three states. When these States are purified we experience the divine happiness. When our senses are happy we experience self contentment and happiness.
